The Spark
HAAT is founded with 40 artisan families from Rajasthan. First 500 products listed online.
Who We Are
Founded in 2019, HAAT began as a small initiative to give India's cooperatives and self-help groups a dignified digital presence. What started with 40 artisan families in Rajasthan has grown into a nationwide movement — a marketplace where every product carries a story of skill, tradition, and community.
We work directly with government-recognised cooperatives, tribal artisans, and SHGs across 28 states. No middlemen. Just authentic craft, fair wages, and a platform built on trust.
Empowering Hands. Preserving Heritage.

What Drives Us
We exist to make India's handcraft economy equitable, sustainable, and celebrated by the world.
Every artisan and cooperative on HAAT receives a fair, transparent price for their work — no exploitation, no hidden fees.
We prioritise eco-friendly, natural materials and traditional production methods that are gentle on the planet.
Products with GI Tags and cooperative certifications are verified by our curation team before listing.
Profits from every sale are reinvested into artisan training programmes, tool grants, and digital literacy camps.
We ship to 40+ countries, bringing India's living craft traditions to homes across the globe.
Every quarter we publish a public impact report — how many artisans were paid, how many new cooperatives joined.
